About Me.

I am a Jewellery designer and maker, based in the heart of Cornwall.

With over 30 years experience of working with metals of all sorts, within both engineering and blacksmithing, it is clear that my passion lies in the craft and manipulation of metals. Simultaneously to my line of work, I had always appreciated and admired the craft and skill of the Jeweller, with their ability to create beautiful, wearable art whilst working with precious metals.

It wasn't until I stepped foot into the Jewellery Department at a local college, where I was fitting their gas system, that I saw my opportunity. Encouraged by the very knowledgable and experienced Jeweller, who was busy setting up her brand new, very well equipped workshop, I eagerly signed up for a course.

After completing my first course, I decided to further build on my skills and ever growing enthusiasm, with a City & Guilds qualification, at the same time I began to amass and assemble everything I needed for a workshop of my own.

Now 10 years on, I am able to offer my very own range of completely hand designed and produced jewellery, each piece crafted to the highest standard.

I take great pleasure in exploring different methods of texturing a lot of my pieces, using a variety of techniques, to produce designs that are unique and individual, with the aim of them becoming sentimental and cherished by their new owners.

Although texture does play a large part in my design, quite often I am taken by just the beauty of simplicity, to achieve a clean and contemporary, modern elegance.

As a solo maker, most of my work is created to order, allowing me to put my hard work, commitment and care into each individual piece. Make sure to keep up to date with the Fabrica website and social media channels for continuous additions to my range, including both new collections and limited edition pieces.
